Just a Dream

       There I was again tonight. I invited to join a party with all my beloved friends. I was happy since I can meet my old friends there. On my way, it has gone happily but, then, when I was there, everything wasn’t as well as what I have imagined. I was forcing myself to laugh with faking smiles. There was full with walls of insincerity. Then when all have been same old tired, I was shifting my eyes and I found a vacancy of love. I couldn’t enjoy everything but him. What I have felt before, it vanished when I saw his face. All I can see is that it was enchanting to meet him. It just like his eyes whispered “have we meet?”. Ohh God! his sillhouette crossed the room, and starts to make its way to me, then I founded in a lonely place.

       Arden meninggalkan ruangan tersebut. Sebuah bangunan besar mirip gudang. Yang telah ditinggalkan pemiliknya bertahun-tahun lalu mungkin. Ruangan gelap penuh dusta, kebohongan dan amarah. Yang di sudut-sudutnya bergelantungan banyak sarang laba-laba, di setiap inchi lantainya penuh dengan debu tebal berwarna hitam. Aroma ruangan itu juga sangat menyiksa hidung. Bau kotoran tikus dan lembab karena disfungsi ventilasi. Apalagi ditambah dengan bau darah segar yang membasahi salah satu sudut ruangan tersebut. Seonggok mayat laki-laki yang tercelup di atasnya. Belum kaku, masih hangat dan berbau anyir darah. Arden mengusap hidungnya menggunakan lengan jaketnya, yang menjadi satu-satunya bagian dari jaket jeansnya yang tidak kotor terkena debu dari ruangan. Dia terus melangkah keluar. Ke arah jalan kecil dan menuju ke arah selatan. Hujan deras dan dinginnya malam di Cinunuk menjadi penambah rasa bagi panjangnya malam ini untuknya. Tersenyum, puas dan seperti hidup untuk kedua kalinya.

Dia menatap langit dengan wajah muram sesekali dia mencoba melihat handphone yang tergeletak di samping tempat tidurnya dan berharap mendapat sms dari pacarnya, Hadi.
